Comprato a Lucca Comics, il prezzo all'inizio mi sembrava eccessivo, ma mi sono ricreduto molto velocemente. Dopo anni passati a creare griglie di battaglia a basso costo che dopo un po' andavano sostituite, qui ho tutto. Ambienti, terreni, tutto è eccezionale. Si possono gestire e rendere più vividi i più disparati campi di battaglia e qualora proprio non si dovesse trovare qualcosa di adatto, c'è sempre una mappa quadrettata generica. Le dimensioni del libro sono perfette, per quanto non maneggevole in senso stretto. Il mio consiglio è di trasportarlo il meno possibile per non rovinare gli angoli. I quadretti sono quelli standard per le miniature di D&D. Insieme ai pawns di cartone di Pathfinder sono un'accoppiata eccezionale, il combattimento tattico viene fuori all'ennesima potenza. Le pagine si cancellano molto facilmente, noi usiamo pennarelli da lavagna bianca. Difetti. Nessuno, se non forse la non eccessiva maneggevolezza (ma dopotutto non occupa molto spazio da chiuso ma offre il giusto campo di battaglia quando aperto). Se non siete fan del combattimento tattico su griglia o se per voi una griglia su un colore anonimo è tutto quello che voletevi serve, non fa per voi. Se volete spaziare in terreni e scontri, avanti tutta, ci sono certi terreni veramente incredibili (arena e lava!). Tutte le mappe sono utili e belle? No, alcune non sono molto versatili e altre poco utilizzabili, ma il 90% trova un suo perchè.
